Taking the “religion” out of Christianity
“Religion” isn’t the most popular word these days–for many people, it conjures up images of hypocrites, pushy evangelists, and unthinking belief. So how do you share the Gospel of Jesus with somebody who hates religion?
NotReligion.com, a new ministry from Back to the Bible, wants to show people that the heart of the Gospel is not “religion,” but something much more meaningful–a relationship. The site features a number of short, to-the-point radio spots that speak plainly to people who’ve been turned off by religion. Looks like a good site to steer skeptical friends to, or to give you some useful ideas for sharing the Gospel yourself.
