Lifetime Guarantee now available via podcast

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

Lifetime Guarantee’s weekly program is now available via podcast! Lifetime Guarantee is the ministry of Bill and Anabel Gillham and aims to help you “see yourself as God sees you and live as He intended.” (Our friends at Soulation might call that “being appropriately human.”)

To that end, Lifetime Guarantee has quite a few resources worth checking out in addition to the weekly podcast: there’s a daily devotional (that you can subscribe to via email if you like) and weekly article series that touches on topics ranging from dealing with worry to learning from failure. That’s a lot of useful information already, but they’ve got yet more spiritual development resources if you want to explore the site further.

Do you work in youth ministry? Did you know that Youth Specialties puts out a video podcast each week?

They’ve been doing the podcast in video format since August of last year, which in podcasting terms is quite an achievement.

Here’s their most recent video from March 30, 2009:

If you haven’t listened to the YS podcast before, be sure to also check out the podcast archives—past issues have touched on subjects ranging from evangelism to running successful youth group events to gender issues in youth ministry.

This month’s Youth Specialties podcast features an interview about that very topic with Jim Hancock and Rich Van Pelt, authors of The Youth Worker’s Guide to Helping Teenagers in Crisis. In the wake of recent school shootings in both Colorado and Pennsylvania, it’s as relevant as ever.
