Faith is... - a Christian perspective

When we put our faith in Christ, it's not because of scientific proof or a random guess--it's an act of hope and belief that God's promises are true.

We do put our faith in Christ, the bible and what the bible tells us and teaches us. It is imperative that we believe the bible and trust it is the Godly divine inspired written word of God and place take our faith from the word,(faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word). We cannot scientifically prove the creation, or anything since then, but we can by witness, history and evidences that continue to witness to the truths and reliability of the Holy Bible. We cannot go back five minutes and scientifically repeat the past, Scientifically proving this requires being able to duplicate and repeat something over and over and therefore many things cannot be proven scientifically. So have faith in the Word O God and it’s truth and look for the evidence of things not see.

  2. briang says:

faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.

19You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder
