Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - No Business Re-creating - #5307

A jeweler shouldn't try to re-create a piece of jewelry into something else when the one who trusted it to him just wanted him to enhance what it already was. We understand that about jewelry, but often we don't seem to understand that about the child God has entrusted to us! God gave them to us to enhance what He made them to be, and we keep trying to make them into something else - what we want them to be!

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
