It was strong enough to break the Bay Bridge and create traffic headaches for months. The Golden Gate Bridge literally has one leg on the San Andreas Fault, but it was undamaged by the same quake. The reason? The Bay Bridge was built rigid all the way through. It's in John 9:4. Jesus says this: "As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent Me. Night is coming when no one can work." He's describing what I'll call the "work of God window" - this brief spiritual opening during which you can accomplish an important spiritual objective. But as He surveys all the massive needs in our broken and sinful world, He cries out today as He did in Isaiah's day - "Whom shall I send? Who will go for Me?"
