Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Sincerely Wrong - #5681
the key to being rescued by the only Rescuer God sent is to grab Him like a drowning person would grab a lifeguard. You may be sincerely devoted to your church, your spirituality or your religion but sincerity in the wrong way is still fatal. The way to life is to abandon all other hopes of getting to God and putting all your trust in Jesus to forgive you and to take you to heaven. Anything else, anything less, is a road to death.

Hebrew The Start of Mans Sadness
Hebrew: Eve is tempted by Satan through the serpent. She takes fruit from the forbidden tree & gives some to Adam, who eats it. This 1st sin brings death. Adam & Eve are sent out of the Garden of Eden, & an angel with a flaming sword guards it. Their 1st son, Cain, kills their 2nd son, Able.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Best Seats in the House - #4475
Those who have suffered painfully, those who have been hurt deeply, they are the people who have - or can have - a view of the awesomeness of God that others never see. And if you are going through a long, dark valley right now, there's hope here for you in seeing beyond the hurt to what can happen if you let your big need open you up to a big God.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Sunsets Should Be Beautiful - #4492
Yes, our later years can have their share of physical pain, disappointed dreams, financial strain, grievous losses, frustrating limitations, and even hurtful neglect. We can't choose our circumstances, but we can, whatever our age, choose our attitude. We can choose what kind of climate we're going to bring with us wherever we are: selfish or unselfish, gentle or harsh, praising or griping, critical or encouraging.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Beacon from the Graveyard - #4500
Jesus blew the doors off His grave and walked out under His own power, leaving death - man's ultimate enemy - vanquished and powerless. And that Easter morning, the beacons were lit. From the mountaintop of that generation, the message that Jesus is alive and death has lost has ignited a fire on the mountain of the next generation. And today, twenty centuries later, we are the ones left here by Jesus to light the beacon for our generation.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Your Final Payment - #4429
According to the Bible, there is still one more bill to pay after the funeral - it's the payment for all those me-first life choices that the Bible calls "sin." In God's words, "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). The payment for running our own lives is an eternal payment. But like that final payment for your funeral expenses, you can do something now to take care of that awful obligation once and for all.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Wounded But Still Fighting - #4301
If you've taken some hits lately - you're hurt, you're knocked down, you're wounded - then the stirring testimony of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4, beginning with verse 7, should be an encouragement and a challenge to you. It's our word for today from the Word of God. It comes from one who has been wounded over and over again, and who refuses to stop fighting for Jesus.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Fog Cannot Win - #4316
The fog never really stands a chance - it's no match for the inevitable victory of the sun - in a majestic mountain landscape, or in the dark moments of your life and mine. And it could be that you're in one of those seasons right now. It's been a time of loss, of grief, of doubt and confusion, of a prodigal loved one, of no answers. Maybe you've been walking through a fog where evil seems to be winning; where injustice seems to be prevailing. The fog has rolled into your life and obscured things you were once so sure of. It's covered the joy you once had with a sense of sadness and fear and even thoughts of giving up.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Last Call - #4343
Not bad for a four-year-old -- well, OK, so I sound like a grandfather now. But that little guy actually has this death thing figured out better than a lot of us grownup people do. We don't decide when it's over. God does. And the thing you want to have happen on the day you take your last breath is for Jesus to call you home to heaven. Unfortunately, not everyone's going home. And the alternative is too eternally awful to contemplate.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Something's Wrong - #4354
Increasingly, a lot of us watch the news and think something like this, "Boy, something's wrong. Something's very wrong!" We hear about violent murders in a top-ranked high school, people doing things to other people that are unspeakable, families ripped apart, just an awful lot of garbage. It just feels like something's wrong in our world. But even closer to home - with the people we love most - sometimes it feels like something's wrong in our family, in our friends. In fact, we look at how we act ourselves all too often and think, "Something's wrong in me."
