Another Eternity Moment - #6607
The moment you give your heart to Jesus, every sin you've ever committed is erased from God's book forever. And what would keep you out of heaven is removed.

The Knife and the Nails - #6339
In a very deep, eternal sense, God's Son took your knife. How can you say no to Him? Go to that cross and say the two words that make all the difference forever, "For me. For me."

Capturing the Time in Between - #6327
There are many seasons in your life, but you feel like right now you're between two important things and you're not doing much. Well God says through this passage, where you are right now is important, not just where you're going to be. Give 100% to this assignment. Act as if you'll be there forever. Because in the course of capturing where you are, God will show you where you are going to be. This is God's will right now!

Scary Times
As the tsunami was racing across the Pacific, I saw this cable news banner: "People are urged to take urgent action to protect lives." Our potentially "apocalyptic" world seems to be calling us to one of two spiritual responses - "urgent action." If you belong to Jesus, act urgently to tell people you love about Him - no more excuses, no more stalling. If you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus, act urgently to give yourself to Him.

A Precarious Planet
The high ground is on a hill with a cross on it. Millions of people have fled to that cross and found safety. And Jesus stands there today, lovingly extending His invitation: "Come to Me" (Matthew 11:28). A precarious planet. A fragile life. An appointment with God. A way to be ready. It's a good day to run to Him.

Making it Through the Pain - #6161
You can lose your health, your business, your marriage, you can lose people you love and still not lose heart. How? First, remember these four letters - TTSP. Yep, they stand for, "This too shall pass." Your ordeal is, in Paul's words, "momentary" and "temporary" against the backdrop of your eternity in heaven. It won't always be this way. Secondly, think about the reward for finishing your painful assignment faithfully - "eternal glory."

The Brightest Stars in the Universe - #6158
Every person you know who doesn't know Jesus in your family, every person you work with, every person you go to school with, that's in your personal world is a future inhabitant of hell. Unless someone tells them how they can be a future resident of heaven. Introduce them to Jesus and you are going to shine like the stars, forever and ever!

Hope Within Your Reach - #6156
Church folks refer to Jesus as the Savior. That means rescuer. He's come down the shaft personally to bring you to God. But he had to give His life for you to ever have life. But He didn't stay dead. He walked out of His grave and conquered death forever. And now He's come for you. When that metal cage came down the shaft, every miner had a choice. Get on and live or stay where you are and die. That's exactly the choice that faces every one of us when it comes to God's Rescuer, Jesus.

Life On Death Row - #2942
God says condemned people can go free - people sentenced to die can, in a moment, have that death penalty canceled and receive the gift of eternal life. How? By putting your total trust in Jesus - Who went to the cross as your substitute, dying your death penalty. In the moment you say, "Jesus, I'm Yours," you have "crossed over from death to life."

Forever - a Christian perspective
God is said to be faithful forever--His Word can always be relied on, and He'll never abandon a promise He has made.
