Snowballs...or Avalanches - #6833
Today is a snowball. You can handle a snowball coming at you. It's just that when you put many of those snowballs together and try to deal with them all at once, you're going to be trying to deal with an avalanche. That's not how God made you. He gives us strength for one day at a time. I know that from Deuteronomy 33:25. It says, "He will give you strength equal to your day."

Destined For Greatness - #6638
Are you someone that Jesus can build into one of His trusted disciples? Oh, maybe you've got a lot of weaknesses, I do. But once you know what Jesus says, you just do it. See, then in the major leagues of God's usefulness, you may be destined for greatness.

Picking a Major - #6617
Whether you're a Ph.D., or you never made it through high school, major in the Bible. It shows up the lies; it shows you what God wants today; it shows you the big picture.

If You Rush It, You Ruin It - #6549
Make it a goal to not find your fingerprints on your future. Only one set of prints - God's. See, your involvement could well become interference. Would you let God finish His masterpiece in His time? For He promises in Ecclesiastes, "He makes everything beautiful in it's time." Impatience can, as young cooks often learn, ruin the final result.

Still There After the Storm - #6468
The cross still stands, proclaiming that God still loves me when it's too dark to see His face. The cross is there, assuring me I am forgiven when the guilt and the regret are trying to drag me into their pit. The cross remains, reminding me that Jesus has beaten death when death seems to be winning. The cross stands tall, declaring "This is not the end. There is a future beyond this darkness, and I'll be there to build that future with you."

True Woman | How Awesome is This Place!
We often sense the Lord’s presence in places of serenity and security. But what happens when the scenery changes—when the serene and secure become tumultuous waves of uncertainty, doubt, or fear? When the bills can’t be paid, or the consequences of sin run deep, or your hopes and dreams for the future have been shattered?
