Someone Else Shuts the Door - #6832
Today the door is open! God paid with the blood of His Son for you to go to heaven, but you've got to come while He's calling. You can meet Jesus at His cross today. He's been waiting for you there.

Storm Surge - #6778
Battered and confused, we finally open our soul to the love that we've been looking for all our lives. And we find in Jesus what the Bible calls "an anchor for the soul, firm and secure" (Hebrews 6:19). The howling winds leave us, not lost, but found and finally at peace. In the arms of the One who speaks "Peace, be still!" to the storm in your soul.

Surprises in the Family Tree - #6770
We're sinners who must always find grace to be "Amazing grace - how sweet the sound." The hymn says, "I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene, and wonder how He could love me...a sinner condemned, unclean." I hope today you still find God's grace amazing, and that you haven't been around so long that you think you belong in God's family because you deserve it.

What Keeps Your Father From Helping? - #6661
Your Father is standing there ready to help as only He can, but you've got to release that bitterness that's making your burden so much heavier. Why carry that load too? Your Father wants to trade your bitterness for His energizing grace.

First, Breathe It Yourself - #6659
The biggest single answer for your child's weakness is to let Christ transform that weakness in you. He has redeeming grace for your son, for your daughter. But first, breathe it yourself.

Custom Tailoring For the Fit You Need - #6623
God gives grace customized for every experience that He sends or He allows in your life. There is dying grace; you say, "I don't know how I would ever handle dying." Well, of course, you're not doing it now; you don't need it now. But haven't you seen people with dying grace? You get it when you need it.

Seldom a Lot, But Always Enough - #6593
Take your assignment from God in 24-hour chunks. Count on enough grace for each day. My kids knew that their Father would see that they had what they needed that day. God's kids know their Father is much better than that.

More Powerful Than Politics - #6592
Walls go down, hearts open up when you speak from the unarguable platform of your pain. Showing folks a Savior who makes you a conqueror in your crisis does something that, well, your words could never do.

A Safe Place to Unload - #6496
Who needs the barber, or the beautician, or the bartender to confess to? We've got a Savior, and He knows you, and He feels with you, and He's walked your trail. He alone is the safe place to unload the deepest secrets of your soul.

Inherit the kingdom - a Christian perspective
Paul says that those who are sexually immoral or idolaters will not inherit the kingdom of God. It's important to remember that it's only by grace and mercy that any of us are worthy to enter the kingdom.
