Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Cleanup Imperative - #4235
It isn't just doctors and nurses that have to be clean for what they do. It's a requirement God makes of anyone He's going to use to do His work on earth - from teaching a class to working in ministry, to raising a family in His ways.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - A Look at the Label - #4666
We have to check what damaging ingredients there might be and what we allow to feed our soul. Our soul feeds on the books and magazines we read, the TV and videos we watch, the music we listen to, the movies we go to, the jokes we listen to, the conversations we're involved in, the relationships we spend a lot of time on, and God's command is to do that without compromise. Abstain from sinful desires! Don't touch, don't watch, don't listen to, don't be around any input that Satan can use later to attack your soul.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Escape Artists - #4703
Because God knows your limits, He says, "stop!" when it's a sinful opportunity you can't handle. There simply is no such thing as an irresistible temptation. If you can't walk away from it, God won't let it in your life.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Tantalizing Sewage - #4296
It looked so inviting. It was so dirty - and potentially so damaging. Just like so many of the temptations that beckon to you and me, almost daily, it seems. And that's why so many have ended up in the middle of something that looked good but has left them polluted, scarred, ashamed.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Respecting the Slope - #4782
Remember, it isn't the mountain that kills those climbers, it's their own risk-taking carelessness and their arrogance. It won't be that temptation that causes you to fall, it will be your moral carelessness - the kind that flirts with falling by staying on a slope that you should never even go near. The deadly slope of sin and temptation - respect it. It has destroyed stronger people than you! Come down before you fall.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Pretty Poison - #4789
First sin fascinates you, and then it assassinates you. And God, in His love, has come to you today to wave you away from a choice that will take you where you never wanted to and keep you longer than you ever wanted to stay, and cost you more than you ever wanted to pay. Don't walk away from that sin - run from it. Sin looks so good and it kills so dead.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Shaking the Snake that Stalks You - #4794
Remember, Satan has no power over you except what you let him have. And every temptation the devil brings into your life is to do one of three things. Jesus said that "thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy." Why in the world would you go along with that?

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Beauty from Brokenness - #4804
They will listen to you because of your scars. They can see through your wounds the amazing beauty of a joy and a hope that only a Savior like Jesus can give. If you will turn away from your despair, and maybe bitterness, anger, and self-pity, and give your brokenness to Him, He can do that miracle for you.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Channel Choice - #4813
You may not be able to help the fact that a sexual input came on your screen, but you totally decide whether or not it stays on your screen. You can't afford to dwell on anything that feeds your anger either, or your depression, or your complaining, something that feeds your worry, or your materialism, your greed, or your spending problem, or that feeds that sinful habit. Maybe that's why you've continued to struggle and maybe you've lost so much in that part of your life because you keep feeding it. You keep stopping to watch and listen to a channel that feeds the sinful side of you.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Heightened Alert - #4126
In other words, when it comes to your very real spiritual enemy who would love to bring you down, be alert - and be defiant. Years ago, C. S. Lewis suggested that there are two extremes when it comes to our attitude toward the devil - ignoring him or being too curious about him. Lewis suggested that either attitude is one that your enemy can find very useful. Ignorance allows the devil to have his way in your life because you don't realize who's doing it or how he works. But, undue curiosity about the devil gives him a means of actually drawing you in his direction.
