Giving A Man A Makeover - #2895
Unfortunately, a lot of women want to give God a little help in reconstructing the old boy. So she brings out her hammer and chisel - nagging him to change, pushing, criticizing, attacking, putting him down. She's making this guy her personal makeover project - "I'll change him." Not likely. All those push tactics make him feel cornered, attacked - less secure and therefore, less likely to change.

Woman Power - #2804
The problem is that men just tend to continue this performance thing in their relationships with women, always feeling they have to be strong, together, right, winning. Until a Proverbs 31 woman comes along, a woman with whom he can share his secrets and know they will never be violated, a woman with whom he can risk being scared, frustrated, weak, unsure.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - Not So Beautiful Women - #8268 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
Okay, hundreds of beautiful women were waiting to audition for a show called America’s Top Model. Suddenly they erupted in total bedlam that ended up with three people arrested, six people hurt and the street littered with shoes and clothing. One girl said, “It was pretty scary.” So, whatever like happened to beautiful?

Women and modesty in the Bible: 1 Timothy 2:9-10
This passage on modesty guidelines affirms a theme present throughout the Bible: the type of beauty that God values is the beauty of a godly character, not the passing beauty of an expensive outfit or opulent jewelry.

Mothers in the Bible: Proverbs 31:9-31
You've probably heard of the "Proverbs 31 woman"--the role model for Christian women, often cited in Mother's Day sermons. But despite its (over)use, this passage is a wonderful portrait of a woman committed to God: gracious in her relationships, savvy and integrity-filled in her professional life, and righteous in her behavior.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Walking too Fast to Talk - #5674
Your listening time with your wife has to be a deliberate choice, a sacrifice choice, a regular choice. "I'm all yours, honey, and I'm yours for a while." That kind of love will create a home where there are no unpleasant surprises; where frustrations don't build into unmanageable avalanches; where a woman has that harbor that her heart has always longed for.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - A Makeover for the Woman You Love - #4662
The selfless love of a husband can, over time, help a woman feel safe enough to deal with her weaknesses, to pour out her soul. And, in so doing, to cleanse her soul. God's love through a loving husband can set her free from the fears and the scars of the past that have defined her for so long. His praise can restore her sense of worth. His listening can offload what weighs her down.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Strongest Men in the World - #4994
hey talk about being a gentleman, a gentle-man! Like the ultimate man, Jesus Christ. For example, when an entire crowd of men was ready to stone a guilty woman, Jesus alone treated her with compassion and gentleness. Another woman was cut down by Jesus' friends for a choice she made about her most expensive possession. Again, Jesus protected her honor. So the measure of your manhood is how safe the women around you feel, how listened to they feel, how protected they feel - physically and emotionally, how respected they feel by you.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - How to Make a Woman Feel Loved - #5078
It took me a little while being married before I got it figured out, but I know what is the number one way to make most women feel loved: Listen to her - not just her words, but her heart. I made a promise at my wedding that God's voice would always be the most important in heaven and my wife's voice the most important on earth. Easy to say. Harder to do, especially with so many voices to listen to in my life. But the woman who's trusted her life to me ought to be the most important voice in my life.
