paul referred himself as chief of sinners
He did indeed–it’s pretty significant that Paul, considered one of the greatest leaders and shapers of the Christian church, considered himself not only a sinner, but a wretched sinner at that! His brutal honesty with himself is something we should all imitate in our own lives. Even with his great work on behalf of the church, Paul still needed Jesus Christ.
