Anxiety in the Bible: Philippians 4:6-7
We're all familiar with stress and anxiety--they're part of everyday life, and we're always on the lookout for ways to reduce them. The Bible has a startingly simple solution for anxiety: trust in God, and find your anxiety replaced by a spiritual peace beyond anything you've experienced.

Hi I am Michelle, I have been sober for 3 months, I suffer from anxiety, depression. Please help me overcome this, I am a believer, and would like some help.
thans and God Bless!
Michelle,
Anxiety and depression are also medical conditions. It’s okay to seek help from a good psychiatrist for these conditions. Prayer in addition to proper medical treatment can be very helpful. There is no shame in getting help. Be blessed.
Michelle – Praise the Lord that you are seeking help! There is free, Bible-centered counseling available to you. Visit NANC’s website at http://www.nanc.org. Learn about Biblical counseling that will teach you God’s word to help you overcome your anxiety and depression. There is a “locate a counselor” section on there, too.
May the Lord bless you as you seek Him.
I have two daughters and two grandkids and I thank God for them, but my girls are really stressing me out. They have men in their lives who dont give them any help at all–no money no nothing, and then they depend on me to see them through. please give me some spiritual guidance.

My name is Tom and i don’t really know your circumstance, but don’t worry about and give it over to God. It really helps. Here’s a good scripture to memorize, Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Hi, my name is Jamie Smith. I am a college student and I am fearful of what is to come. I am constantly doubting, worrying, and fearful of not doing well this semester, if I am going to have another panic attack, I won’t obtain my internship this summer, and that I won’t be successful after I graduate. I have developed anxiety over this past year and it seems as though it is getting worse. How can I be a better prayer warrior and have strong faith in that God will bring me through? Can anyone help???
My general practitioner actually suggested a book to me. It is called Be Anxious for Nothing by Joyce Meyer. It also has a workbook that goes along with it. There are so many scriptures in this book that are comforting. Everytime I feel anxiety coming on, I get out this book and read what I have underlined. Plus, I have underlined the scriptures in my Bible. Please go to your local Christian bookstore or buy it online. You will not be disappointed. If anxiety is ruling your life, meddical help is not a bad thing either…
Do not worry about the future. What happens will happen. My latest quote that I always repeat in my head is, “I can’t changed what happened. I just have to deal with it and move on from here.” I have medical issues because of excessive worrying…fibromyalgia…over something that I now see as a simple “bump” in the road. Please just look at everything as a “bump” in the road…takes a minute to adjust the steering wheel, but you survive and continue down the road. I know that words are easy to say, but the actual doing part is the hardest. God will take care of you…”Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you” 1 Peter 5:7…”Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6. Pray and write your prayers down in a prayer journal…He will listen.
Here’s a wonderful resource on anxiety, it’s available as free download if you wish. You can either read the pdf’s, or download the mp3’s. It’s by Pastor John MacArthur.

Hi my name is Anne Maimone and I am suffering from anxiety stress and depression. Right now I am going thru some very bad financial problems and want not to feel this way. I am divorced and am living on my own with a job that only pays 10.45 an hour. I work 36-38 hrs a week. I get paid every other week . My only other income are when I do specials or and alimony. I live in a two bdrm apartment with my son. My daughter had to move in with her dad. I need Gods prayer for finances in order to not fear being out on street. I worry all the time and just when everything looks up something else happens. please God give me a peace over all peaces knowing that you will not put me out and for doors to open where I won’t have to struggle. but to trust and know that you will provide. I thank you for giving me all that I have and for loving me and my two adult kids.I give all my stress and release myself unto you for protection and trust in all things that you in Jesus name Amen and forgive me oh forgive me for the times that I do walk away and not know to focus on what’s important as you are. forgive when I do things that are not pleasing to you Lord and above all thank you for bringing Bill into my life. I pray your will be done into our relationship. Open his heart to hear your words that he may know and taste and see the love that you have for him and us thru your son Jesus. that he may want to know him. and I pray for whatever will unfold thru us as our relationship grows, give Bill the words that he needs to do what is right in his heart with our relationship to bring us closer to you and to build it properly. Open doors for Bill in the job market. thank you for his job and I pray that whatever door will open will help him thru what he wants to do to make his ends meet. Thank you God for loving me. Amen
May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds. Remember that the word of God says that he provides for the sparrow so he will make a way for you even when it seem very impossible. He uses impossible situations to help to build faith in us. Lift your faith and believe that God is able to do for you exceedingly abundantly above that which we can ever ask or think.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
