  1. Linda Williams says:

our pastor says Never to argue with someone.. I have found this is true.. when someone has set their mind in what they believe you can plant the Seed, but you will not get anywhere by trying to argue religion.
for example, when my father passed away, I knew he was ok.. his soul was with Jesus.. my father in law, who was raised Advent Christian does not believe in this, nor rapture.. and tried to argue the fact. actually said to me, “You cannot believe this? can you, that your father is in Heaven?” I told him plainly, where is our hope, if I did not.. what did Jesus tell the one thief on the cross that day at Calvary.. “Today you will be with me in Paradise”.
He did not respond. I dropped it.. so no, don’t try argue, BUT stand firm in your convictions, and this is all the more reason to know your Bible..

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
