Banquet - a Christian perspective

In this parable, God's kingdom is compared to a vast wedding banquet. When not all of the invited guests choose to attend, the wedding is thrown open to everyone to attend--a clear metaphor for the Gospel's inclusion of all people, not just Israel.

“[Thanksgiving and Prayer] We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.”
