From this incident we learn that it is not good for anyone to mock God by dipising His servant. It seems as though we can curse God and even mock him openly, but don’t be doing such to His servants. Retribution isn’t always a couple of she bears…disease, worms, etc are not uncommon. If God’s servant is guilty of some missuse of office, God will deal with him/her directly.
It’s not a healthy direction to challenge God’s Authority He has delegated to His servants.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
