Can you please help me find some scriptures regarding kids and church? I am a single mom who felt in my heart not to attend Wednesdays service due to my children going to school. I have been attending church for 2 yrs. and usually attend Sunday service and I have a family life group on Saturdays. I have had sisters asking me why can I just put God first no matter what and go but my kids are little and need help with homework, dinner, bedtime, ect? Is that wrong? please help!!!!!!!!!

God is not just at church. You can worship in everything you do, even when helping with homework. God does want his children to meet so we can be encouraged and supported. If you can’t make Wednesday service, have a family devotion instead. You can pray that homework goes well :) . Invite a family over from you childs class to do homework together on Wednesdays.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
