  1. Charles Williams says:

I believe the correct name of God we Christians worship is Jehovah, Yehweh. Allah is the name of the Muslims God. I am told that recent comments from the Muslim Clerics in Indonesia and Malaysia have strongly protested that the Name Allah should not be used by Christians and I fully agree with them. Whether in Arabic, english or any another language we should if we have to use the Name Jehovah, because that’s what He says His name is.

  2. Akor Samuel says:

In our own experience,(am writing from Kaduna,Northern Nigeria)we have gone through sequencies of religious crisis and many christian here have adopted the name Yahweh instead of the name Allah.Allah has an Arabic root and the arabic language has had a long history with the local language spoken here which is Hausa. And the name used for God in the local language have become less popular. But there is a silent revolution among the people and i believe it is good for us.This has led to a geater use of the name Jehovah,Yahweh as stated in the Bible.

There is only one true God, and we are commanded to worship only him. Jesus called him Father and said we should also call him Father when we talk to him.
