The more I study scripture the more I believe that our salvation is dependent on our obedience rather than on some ’sinner’s prayer’ that is found nowhere in scripture. Hebrews three is a great passage in this regard. If we are to ‘work out our salvation with fear and trembling’ then how does some words ‘put in our mouths’ by some pastor or counselor accomplish that?
