Devotional : God Is Good

Often when we pray, we do so "just in case" it might help, but we don't usually expect God to actually come through. Why do Christians have such a hard time trusting in God's goodness? This devotional looks at the reasons and then concludes with some strategies for allowing ourselves to fully trust in God's goodness.

  1. PAULINE PITTER says:

Maybe beacuse we are looking/carving the big things in life .i.e big house big car, big salary and think this is what the whole ethos about Christainity/or the reason JESUS came. Hence, living according to the valid dictates of man in order to function within society.

The above, are mere morsels compared to the things GOD can give. also Jesus was not impressed by big and excessive things . Pls Do no forget Christ was born is a dirty manger, without the every day modes and con to comfort him.

So you/us high minded christains, come off your high horse and seek and find SOULS. Because god is good, god is good, and his mercies are everlasting. We were not saved to pop ,but to be soul winners for CHRIST.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
