Full Speed Ahead in the Wrong Direction - #6059
Every day that you ignore God's attempts to stop you or redirect you is another day wasted outside the will of God. No matter how noble your goal, it is a sin to keep pursuing it if God doesn't want you to. For any of us who are driving full speed ahead in any direction, we need to make sure on a daily basis that we are, in fact, driving in the direction that God wants us to go. Life is just too short to waste one more day driving in a direction that God doesn't want us to go.

The people in our church seem to go in 2 different directions. It makes it hard when some are following Gods will and some are following the devils will. It splits the church in 2 ways and then some wonder why they are not a growing church. The song “Why cant all Gods children get along” hits the nail on the head and now if I can find it i am going to play it and say now ? Why cant we get along?
We are angry christians. We doubt God’s love for us and feel wrong in a balanced love for ourselves. We think the only way God is happy with us is to be misserable and suffer. I tell myself all the time “God is pleased with me” my natural-man screams at me “NO Way”! “Who do you think you are”?! In the same way we are excited at our childrens slow sweet developement (act like fruit-loops at the first steps) God is PLEASED with our progress! He isn’t waiting to punish us each time we fall like alot of us believe. Besides if the devil can convince us to stay angry christians… we will never get anything done! Give the devil a black-eye and say “God Is Pleased with me” I know Im not where he wants me to be, but Ive come a long way and he Love me!
that was a great response and I appreciate you taking the time to write it…thank you…even all these months later… i learned from it.
