Giving A Man A Makeover - #2895

Unfortunately, a lot of women want to give God a little help in reconstructing the old boy. So she brings out her hammer and chisel - nagging him to change, pushing, criticizing, attacking, putting him down. She's making this guy her personal makeover project - "I'll change him." Not likely. All those push tactics make him feel cornered, attacked - less secure and therefore, less likely to change.

  1. Jameka says:

Many women are trying to hammer and chisel a god for themselves. A man who finds a wife, finds a good thing. We should not be trying to giving a man a makeover. How did he approach you? Did you find him? Ask yourself, why are you seeking to makeover this man? Is it for God’s glory? Many men feel as if they have been pushed to the side and they should just let the woman take over. This is where Adam committed the first sin…he listened to Eve. Women, wake up and stop setting standards (strongholds) on men. You are not the creator of Heaven and earth. A woman is a man’s helper, not his maker!
