How Good People Miss Heaven - #6058
When your heart has beaten for the last time, there's only one thing that God will be looking for at the gates of eternity: Jesus, His Son, with His arm around you saying, "This one's with Me."

Before you read the following; I emphatically translate within your heart, that I am not condemning anyone… If I were to do this, then I wouldn’t be following the Word as Jesus taught in Matthew 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
In Matthew 25: concerning the Ten Virgins… Upon the door opening, only five made it in… This only tells me one thing: Even if we knew/know Jesus, and if we are not totally living His Ways, His Truth, and His life, then the Gates of Heaven won’t allow us to enter… In your Spiritual education of the Word, not what man taught you; is this what the God’s Word taught you?
Anyone/whomever can study for 30 years; upon receiving His Educational degree, his heart can be as his went in! Where do you think this person will end up in life?
As I look at Churches today, I find exactly what the word tells us not to be… Though, before I continue, I must emphasize in the only Spiritual way I know: I am not condemning them, only Jesus can do that… I say Jesus, because upon Him dying on the Cross for the remission of our sins, His Father, our God gave Him as we read in Matthew 28:18, Then Jesus came to them and said,
“All Authority In Heaven And On Earth Has Been Given To Me.†Because of His death on the Cross, I give my life to Him…
He was, and still is today, my God, the door for entry… Yet, many believe in the once saved always saved doctrine… (spiritually our eyes are opened, to see the truth, and the truth is all we have to set us free…)
I pray that you can help with the following question: What does Matthew 7:13-16, mean as in the way you believe today? (King James Version)
13 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 – Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 – Ye shall know them by their fruits.
My question to you: How would anyone believe as to what you just read…
I remain in His Blood, I pray forever,
Jimmy Vouras
Well, the parable of the ten virgins is not talking about entering heaven, it instead is a type and shadow of the second coming of Jesus when he comes in the clouds (1 Thessolonians 4:17) to gather his church, one without spot, wrinkle, or blemish (Eph. 5:27). The five wise virgins(symbolizing that they were pure and clean)were saved by the blood of the Lamb and free from all sin. They had oil in their lamps (symbolizing the Oil of the Spirit, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost [Acts 2:4])and were ready to go when the bridegroom (Jesus) called. The five foolish ones were virgins, too, so they were saved, but couldn’t go with the Lord because they didn’t have the Baptism in the Holy Ghost.
I don’t believe in once saved always saved because I have found no Biblical backup for this theory. The most outstanding scripture agaist it to me is Ezekial 18:20A- The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
“enter ye at the stait gate”-that gate is Jesus. When you give your heart to the Lord you start walking on that narrow road and quit your sinning. That’s why it’s narrow you can’t do just anything and then expect to go to heaven. We live in a society to day that thinks anything goes but the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:17- Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. Walk that narrow road. Not many will pay the price to walk that narrow way, but come out from them. So many today are walking that broad road that leads stait to hell.
“beware of false prophets”- anyone you says anything contradictory to the infallible Word of the Living God, beware.
“Ye shall know them by their fruits.”- watch how people live, see the things that they do, you’ll know who’s living for God or not. Don’t get this confused with “Judge not”.
if you feel your church is not teaching and preaching what the Bible says, read for yourself and see if everything your preacher or teacher corresponds with the truth. If it doesn’t, don’t be afaid to take a stand.
I’m not a minister or even a teacher, I’m just a humble servant of the Lord.
God bless you and I hope I’ll see you in Heaven one day, I love you and Jesus loves you. You are special to God!
so what is John 3;16,Ephesians 1;13&14,John 10;28 tell us?
You know for sure that the broad way leads to hell, eacg777? I mean that has always been the assumption, but He didn’t say hell. He said “destruction.” Sometimes physical destruction promotes spiritual salvation.
Look at the great tribulation multitude John saw in Revelation 7. That looks like the “many” of the parable of the two gates and ways.
It’s not what we do it’s what God did for us so when you surrender to God and recieve and act on his commandments it’s not about rules it’s about loveing the relationship with Jesus. We all are broken in a broken world. We are all short of the Glory. All we can do is our best and that is walk in love and spirit. The only way you can understand is to except the truth and read the word of God Faith comes by hearing the word of God. He’s the only one that can change us, we can ask but his Grace and Mercy and Love is the only way. I was once lost but now I have been found. Hallelujah !!!!!!! Sometimes you just have say what the heck I’m going try this Jesus out. I can guarantee you, you won’t be disappointed, I wasn’t and several people I know and don’t know. Enjoy life
This is the first time that I have read the following: “…what the heck I’m going to try this Jesus out.” Jesus is not something a person tries out. Jesus is a spirit that you “accept” into your heart of your own free will. He does not force His way in.
Matt.7:13b Jesus said, “…broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction,..”
Matt.7:14b Jesus said, “…narrow is the way, that leadeth into life…”
Broad means the ways that are not pertaining to living a Holy life. In other words, if Jesus is not your Lord and Saviour and you refuse to live a life separate from the world, then your home will not be Heaven. It will be Hell. Hell is destruction. Some good people do go to Hell. Jesus is not amazed by good works. He wants you to be a doer of His Word.
Narrow means to follow Jesus Christ and to live Holy and and obey His commandments, but most of all have love for one another. Jesus must be Lord of your life in order to have eternal life. God Bless Everyone.
