Goodbye, Ordinary! - #5927

Maybe you're like so many believers I've met in recent years. You've got this unexplainable restlessness inside. It's saying, "There's got to be something more than this." It's saying, "I want to make a greater difference with the rest of my life than I've made until now." Well, it's God who made you restless. He wants you to realize the power you got when you got Jesus.

  1. Lopez Manuel says:

How can I keep myself away from sinning and watching super evil stuff that the Lord Jesus Christ hates to watch me watch? I like Pornography, Heavy Metal, except for drugs of any matter, and I also like to lust quite a lot!! Is there any prayer that youguys can do for me? My name is Manuel Lopez. If you ever want to come and do a long prayer in my house, I would be very honored.

@Lopez Unfortunately, there’s no magic prayer anyone can say that would remove all of those things from your life; however, that doesn’t mean you have to deal with them forever! A few recommendations, hopefully others will add some more:

    1. If you’re not already: start reading the Bible every day. Even if it’s just a verse (you have to start somewhere).
    2. If you’re not already: start praying every day. Even if it’s just for one minute (again, you have to start somewhere).
    3. Find a trustworthy friend who lives nearby you who can keep you accountable and try to talk to them once a week about the things God is calling you to change in your life. Pray for each other diligently.

I’d also recommend talking to a pastor or Christian counselor about the things that you’ve been convicted of, they’ll be able to give you much better direction than I.
