The Most Important Question About the Road You're On - #6043

The only way to get to heaven is to be totally depending on Jesus Christ to get you there. It means abandoning all other hopes of getting to God and to heaven and fully trusting the one way God provided - Jesus, His one and only Son. If you've never reached out to Him and given yourself to Him, you're in grave spiritual danger, no matter how sincere you may be in whatever else you're depending on.

i thought there was a scripture that stated (to the effect) that you had to be of childlike faith? heart? mind? to enter the gates of heaven. like trust in God the way a child trusts in its parents before its faced with the harshness of this worlds realities.i cant find the scripture, and it mightve been discussion after a study i attended.can you either guide me to this scripture or set me straight? PLEASE???

  2. nrgeeone says:

Jesus himself assured us no one except those with hearts like children would enter his kingd (paraphrase). See Mark Chpter 9 vs 36-37 “. Also see Matthew 11, vs 25-26 OK, here’s what we both were looking for: Matthew 19 vs 11 to 15
    Gods Peace!!

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
