IN FIRST CORINTHIANS IT TALKS ABOUT PRAYING AND SPEAKING IN TOUNGES NOTICE WHEN YOU SPEAK IN TONGUE YOU NEED AN INTERPERTOR BECAUSE IT IS SPEAKING TO THE CHURCH AND THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND WAS IS BEING SPOKE TO THEM BUT PRAYING IN TONGUE IS PRAYING MYSTERIES OF THINGS ONLY YOUR SPIRIT KNOWS BUT YOU OR YOUR MIND DOESNT KNOW! FOR SUCH THINGS NOT JUST PERTAINING TO YOURSELF BUT ALSO PRAYING FOR OTHERS AND THINGS YOU CAN’T KNOW ABOUT BUT THE SPIRIT DOES! EXAMPLE PRAYING FOR A PRESIDENT OR NEIGHBOR OR SOMEONE ACROSS COUNTRY IN A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION THAT KNOW ONE EVEN KNOW ABOUT YET! PS AN INTERPERTOR HAS A GIFT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS BEING SAID IT IS ONE OF THE GIFTS OF 9 FROM GOD. First you have to be saved to be of God then pray for the holy spirit to annoint you and come up upon you then simply let sounds come out of your mouth any sounds like an infant trying to speak. It will sound weird at first and maybe uncomfortable and your natural mind will usually resist cause it sounds silly at first to some but the devil cant understand what is being prayed for also! practice that and watch the sounds get more defined and more clear and it is your personal language to God and no two people have the same sort of like a thumbprint! and befor you know it you are using it daily and it lifts you and others and it is power from God to be used for his will! It trully changes others lives and for sure it changes and impowers yours.

I find the information which you stated was informative, however, I do disagree with the statement which declares a negative comment pertaining to pentecostals and false hood. I do agree withe the fact that the Holy Spirit is not just speaking in tongues, or an abrumpt jerk or quark…but putting other demoninations down is not a way to magnify anothers ministry. Regardless of teh demonimantion one may claim to have, the Holy Spirit is gentle, and not bias to speak derogatory towards another brethern. So in you comments, Let’s keep the truth available for all who may be in the dark. The truth of the Word of God, without man’s opinions is LIGHT ALONE!

If you read the article (most people do not and just assume), it states that “it is not a Pentecostal or Charismatic endeavor; it is not about speaking in tongues or some esoteric Baptism…” this means “Being led by the Spirit’ is not just for a specific brand of Christianity, it is God the Holy Spirit, alive and working in us all, all believers. The article states what the Bible teaches on the matter, from an “inductive approach.” That means a theological bias was not read into passages or passages take out of context to create or sustain ones position, opinion or interpretation. It seeks to plainly search for what the Bible does indeed clearly state… Thus, what does the Bible teach on this subject, not what I want it to teach, not what I heard my pastor or book or denomination state…, that is what it is about… be blessed!

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
