"Man thinks" in the Bible: Proverbs 23:6-8


Proverbs talks of the kind of man who constantly thinks about the price of the food he's sharing with others. This stingy man's heart does not want to give that food and drink to you. Proverbs even says that you will vomit up what little you've eaten and that you've wasted your compliments.

 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:

 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

 The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.
