Manasseh - a Christian perspective

Manasseh was an evil king. He took his place at the helm of Israel at the age of 12 and rebuilt the temples to Baal and Asherah poles his father, Hezekiah, had torn down. Manasseh even sacrificed his own son in the fire and built altars to the starry hosts inside the Temple of the LORD.
