As a believer in Christ this passage is one of my most beloved. That God so loved the world that He sent His Son to indwell human flesh and blood and to ultimately give His life for us is an almost unfathomable concept. This passage epitomizes the depths of Christ’s humiliation. Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift!

luke 2 verses 1 through 13 are definetly the best verses in the bible because the birth of my Savior is told easily and can be understood!

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
