Motivation - a Christian perspective

Where does your motivation come from? Paul tells us that in all things we do, we should do it for the glory of God. What we eat or drink doesn't matter, so long our motivation is rooted in the glorification of the LORD.

I believe what you are saying, but your verse does not directly relate to motivation. The context of this verse is more about being considerate of the conscience of your neighbor when he offers you food. I think a more appropriate verse would be actually the verse of the day, Colossians 3:17. The context of this verse is worth reading.

    Have a happy Thanksgiving!

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
