Nephilim - a Christian perspective


The beings known as Nephilim are only briefly referenced in the Bible, but have caused much discussion. They are described here as mighty heroes, the offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men."

    These were the descendants of the Anunnaki, a.k.a the children of Anak. (Also see Numbers 13:33)

    More on the Anunnaki to be found in Mesopotamian legends. Mesopotamia was the birthplace of Abram (later Abraham) who is believed to be a descendant of the same. Therefore the “chosen”-ness of the Jewish people.
