Outer Darkness in the Bible - a Christian perspective
In this passage, Jesus says that not all who call themselves God's children will find themselves in the kingdom of heaven. He says that many will find themselves in the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

we have to look at this pasage in its context,jesus had just healed a leper proveing he was God. jesus entered capernaum a roman centurion came to jesus saying servant is ill, jesus heals the servant, the point is this Gentile from rome had more faith in jesus then his own look up john one v 11. the jews thout well where sons of abraham so we are ok for the kingdom, thats what jesus is refering to here the sons ie the jews, so in the kingdom wen abraham isaac and jacob sit down tons of Gentiles will also be there coz they put thir faith in jesus alone, and the jewish leaders who rejeted jesus will be cast in to outer darkness and thats hell. there is no darkness or night in Gods kingdom. michael.
