Paradise in the Bible: Luke 23:39-43

Even while dying on the cross, Jesus extends grace to one of the other men being crucified with him--in this case, a thief who put his trust in Jesus in the final moments of his life. This passage is one of many from which Christians derive their understanding of heaven.

yes actually i believe there is paradise; it is a place where the saints rest, take a look at the picture of Lazarus and the rich man in the bible when lazarus died he was taken to the bosom of Abraham where he was resting.

  2. whitefeet12 says:

paradise on earth, yes…Jehovah will restore the lost paradise where Adam and Eve lived before. that was a promise that is soon to be fulfilled..

  3. mike says:

yes jesus promised a place for the theif in paradise which i believe is future at the resurrection. Most try to say that jesus meant that the theif would be in paradise immediately that day,but if you take that scripture and cross reference it with other scriptures you,ll discover other scripture which seem to say something completely different. The problem is that the original Greek did not have any punctuation ,it was added much later by the translators.

  4. mike says:

The bible tells us that the dead know not anything, the bible tells us that they have no more a reward. The bible also informs us that the dead do not praise god.
