Sometimes we think we know the way our Father wants us to go. We can’t imagine that the way might be hard or even grueling, especially if we see that it’s our children going in that uncertain direction. What we must remember and continually trust and pray about is the truth that our Father in heaven already knows the way that we are going in our lives. He knows the desires we have for our children. He has the same desires plus more for His children (which are us and our own children). When our children go astray or make wrong choices, (some by chance, some deliberate)we must know that they are under God’s protecting hand, for He is our shield and our buckler. While we wait for their return, we pray for their safety and safe return to Him, our Father. My parents instilled the Lord’s word in my heart when I was young. I strayed away from home and conformed to the ways of this world. I was forty years old when I came back home but when I did all I kept hearing was I prayed for you while you were gone. I know it was those prayers and faith that kept me lifted above all the wrong choices and mistakes I made. Pray that God keep your children while they are in their own way. He is a God who answers prayers. A)sk, s)eek, k)nock. You must first “ASK”. Thank you for allowing me to comment. Love & Peace.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
