Raise Children - a Christian perspective

God tells us that while we are raising our children we should constantly remind them of the commandments He has given us. We should make it part of all aspects of our lives.

  1. 37Debbie says:

What about step children and their disresprct? What about step children when the biological father won’t insist on it and punish/dicipline the child for disrespect? What about disrespect to the step siblings? I’m at my wits end and I can’t deal with it anymore.

Debbie our God who is Jehovah Jireh-our Provider, Jehovah Nissi- Reigns victorious and Jehovah Shalom- our Prince of Peace. Pray on these words and our God who gives us our heart,s desires and everything we ask for in the mighty name of Jesus shall answer you. The Great I AM will give you peace in your home and provide understanding and love. Just pray about it and connect with him. Stay blessed

To Debbie with the step children issues. My heart understands all too well the frustration you wrote of. One thing that I did was had a day of prayer alone and annointed everything in our house with oil, including the pictures of my husband’s grown children who have caused me such horrible pain and anguish. I prayed over each child. The only way to survive is to stay connected with God and let Him help you to love them in spite of their disrespect.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
