Will There Be a Rapture? - Into Thy Word Ministries
Yes and no! Yes, Christ is coming back and we will meet Him and it will be spectacular and no words or speculations could ever describe it effectively, especially not in the way most books and TV preachers have sensationalized it... However in fact, it is not a biblical fact or idea or even a word in the Bible....

1 Thessalonians 4:17 (New International Version)says,
“After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”
I think there are two parts to the “Second Coming of Christ”…the first where the believers are caught away and the second when Christ returns to earth with his bride at the end of the “great tribulation”.
when will this happen
when will this happen.,. what does the bible say
When will this happen? what does the Bible say?
the old KJ Bible
In matthew we find Jesus teaching and explaining those events very clearly and in oder: :Matthew 24:6 And ye will hear of wars, and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled:for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. verse 8 to 10:All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then will they deliver you up to be afflicted, and will kill you: and ye will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then will many be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.verse 11 And many false prophets will rise, and will deceive many.verse 12And because iniquity will abound, the love of many will become cold.13 But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mt 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mt 24:31 And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Paul gives more assurance and tells the flock not to worry.
Thessalonians 4:15 to 18
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain to the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God (Paul states in another place with the sounding of the last trumpet): and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.
it is a one time event. a gathering of all at one time.

I believe there will be one event one gathering of the elect one coming Peter and paul state the following/
Second Peter chapter 2.verse 1.there were false prophets among the people, as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly put forward wrong teachings for your destruction, even turning away from the Lord who gave himself for them; whose destruction will come quickly, and they themselves will be the cause of it.
2 And a great number will go with them in their evil ways, through whom the true way will have a bad name.
3 And in their desire for profit they will come to you with words of deceit, like traders doing business in souls: whose punishment has been ready for a long time and their destruction is watching for them.
Second Peters Chapter 3 verse 7.the present heaven and the present earth have been kept for destruction by fire, which is waiting for them on the day of the judging and destruction of evil men.
8 But, my loved ones, keep in mind this one thing, that with the Lord one day is the same as a thousand years, and a thousand years are no more than one day.
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his word, as he seems to some, but he is waiting in mercy for you, not desiring the destruction of any, but that all may be turned from their evil ways.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; and in that day the heavens will be rolled up with a great noise, and the substance of the earth will be changed by violent heat, and the world and everything in it will be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things are coming to such an end, what sort of persons is it right for you to be, in all holy behaviour and righteousness,
12 Looking for and truly desiring the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will come to an end through fire, and the substance of the earth will be changed by the great heat?
13 But having faith in his word, we are looking for a new heaven and a new earth, which will be the resting-place of righteousness.
14 For this reason, my loved ones, as you are looking for these things, take great care that when he comes you may be in peace before him, free from sin and every evil thing.
15 And be certain that the long waiting of the Lord is for salvation; even as our brother Paul has said in his letters to you, from the wisdom which was given to him;
16 And as he said in all his letters, which had to do with these things; in which are some hard sayings, so that, like the rest of the holy Writings, they are twisted by those who are uncertain and without knowledge, to the destruction of their souls.
17 For this reason, my loved ones, having knowledge of these things before they take place, take care that you are not turned away by the error of the uncontrolled, so falling from your true faith.
18 But be increased in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May he have glory now and for ever. So be it.
The Word of God is the Truth, whatever God say, will come to pass, though we do not know every detail of these events in the Bible, but His understanding is infinite knowing every second of what and when these things will take place, God bless
And you have to be saved and have the Holy Spirit to make the rapture.
All the reasons are to long to type he but i found a site that has 30 Bible reasons why. i read them and they all are backed up with scripture.

I thank my wonderful Lord for every breath I inhale. My cup runs over with blessings, even when darkness abounds. I can still praise his name, knowing that he holds me in the palm of his hand. I just found this web site, and I rejoice, reading others that believe in the coming of Christ. Pardon my saying, but I only use, study, teach, and have faith in the King James Version Bible. Nothing personal against anyone that uses a different translation otherwise. I hold nothing against anyone for anything for that matter. I want to ask a question. Maybe some of you have asked yourselves the same question. Sometimes I think it’s goofy of myself to think this…but on the other hand it’s really serious I think. Question is: Do you think it is a sin to be anxious in the Lords return for the Rapture? On 1 hand I can’t wait for him to come and take us home to our Father. On the other hand, there is quite a bit of the Lords work left to be done. The Bible teaches us that he has not yet returned because our Father is very patient and long suffering(waiting for the salvation of lost souls, therein lies the point of our laboring for the Lord). I kinda feel like a Kid ready to go and have the biggest day of my life on that eternal playground, but, all the kids aren’t ready to go outside and play yet……know what I mean? The Bible just doesn’t state that my anxiousness is a sin or not, that I’m aware of anyway. If you can answer that for me, I’d love it and thank you. I’ll just keep watching that eastern sky and waiting with you. I do have some comforting words for those wondering “when” is our Lorg going to come for us!! Though we know not the the day; for only the Father knows the day of his sons return- Matthew 24:37 says- But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the the Son of man be. Luke 17:26-27 says- And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. That tells me that the world was a very wicked place about the time of Noah. I can’t imagine the world becoming much more wicked than it is right now. We may not know the day or hour He will return, but, I garauntee you it won’t be very long at all!! FOR COMFORT TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. James5:7 Be patient therefore, bretheren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it,until he receive the early and latter rain. He’s coming…and I CAN’T WAIT. Witness and labor for the Lord Like he will return tonight. Do that with me and may our Father receive the honor and the glory for it!! I will pray for everyone of you, and please pray for me.
