The rich young man approaches Jesus and asks him how he can get eternal life. Jesus makes sure that the rich young man is following the rudiments of the law, which he is. Then Jesus tells him to sell all he has and give to the poor. The rich young man leaves sad, for he has much. The disciples then ask how it will be possible for any to enter the kingdom of heaven. Jesus replies that with God all things are possible.
