So many folks live trapped between the “lookin’ good” role they play and an ugly, maybe frightening reality behind the image. That gap slowly tears you apart inside unless and until you can find someone who will take you as you really are and help you get to who you want to be and who you need to be. For millions of us, that person’s name is Jesus. He already knows everything about me—good, bad, ugly. The Bible says, ”Lord, You have searched me and You know me. You are familiar with all my ways” (Psalm 139:1, 2). So there’s nothing to hide.
