Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Galaxies and the Groceries

Jesus says in Matthew 6:9–11, “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.’” This is an excerpt from the Lord’s Prayer and it is really like a camera with two lenses looking at our heavenly Father. Think about the word father and what that means to you. You might have had a bad father experience growing up. When we think about God being our Father, we are thinking about the perfect father.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
