Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - Combustible Living - #8262 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters

I’m Ron Hutchcraft and I was reminded of the story Roy told me about when he was a young bookkeeper during the Depression. He took enormous pride in keeping meticulous records for his company. Then came the day the company went under. Roy’s final order from his boss: go out back and burn the books. Roy told me of the life-changing day when he watched his life’s work literally go up in flames. He soon became a great pastor.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
