My Dad’s in heaven, but I know there are moments he must be looking down and laughing at his city boy son doing country boy things. Like helping a friend carry some lambs. I never did that before. As soon as I got each lamb in my arms, he just went like totally limp, like he had just surrendered to his fate. Made me think of another Lamb who’s come to mean the world to me.
