Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Why "More" is Never Enough - #5026

We're lonely for God. We're away from God; so far away that it took the death of God's only Son to bridge the gap between us. Our self-run lives (the Bible calls that sin) place us under the death penalty for all rebels against God. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross, and His resurrection from the dead three days later, was to pay for every wrong thing you've ever done and to open the door to love and life that never ends; that eternity you were made for.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
Today's passage is from the New International Version of the Bible
