GODS GIRL?
Know that what ever you are doing is not Gods will for your life, in fact, it keeps you from living that preordained life He planned for you because of the sin we partake in that keeps us connected to this world and out of that perfect fellowship with God. But be assured as “Gods Girl” that you truly are, He will finish the great work He started in you. You have to fight the fight in your mind. You have to be assured that even though the sin exists, it does not define “who” you are. Gods love, plan, and purpose for your life never changes. We have to fight the fight in our minds and continue to confess that we are His children, repent daily, and continue to ask God for Help in our time of need for strength to fight temptation. But having faith that this too shall pass and on the other side of it is what God intended if we just stay in faith. Your salvation is never on the line. God is not a grudging God. What your doing doesnt change the fact that you believe in Jesus and have been born agian with such confession. That sealed your salvation. The rest of the fight is the enemy keeping us believers from living that preordained God Glorifing Life that God planned for us. Because of all the others it would reach. You have a testimony on the other side of the trials your going through. When God gives you beauty for ashes is because He knows “His Girl” will tell all the ones that He places in your path how you felt going through it, How you had to hold on to faith that God was going to help you out, and How good and Graceful He is because through it all He still chose to Love “His Girl”!

I agree with “kngleo”. I got entangled in an affair with a person I had a business contract with, which uncovered that I was surrounded by deceit and sexual immorality. My husband was involved in an affair with a person I thought had been my best friend for over 25 years, and the person I got involved with. I thought I had lost it all. Due to the hell I was living in, I had to give up my contract job to try to salvage my marriage, which revealed that my husband had been in an ongoing affair with the other woman for over 2 years. My husband divorced me for the alternative lifestyle. It was a difficult and painful process to get back to my Lord and Savior, but I am now there. I had to leave them all behind and forgive them all, repent, surrender my life to Jesus, and fill my mind with the Word of God. I am a survivor ONLY because I surrendered. I give praise and worship daily to my Lord, Jesus Christ for my survival.
I agree with what the others have said, but I would like to add to their comments that you have to STOP what you are doing! Yes, God loves us with an everlasting love, but he promised that we will reap what we sow and the consequences of your actions will remain (as they did for David, Moses and all the others). Jesus in love told the woman caught in adultery to ‘Go and sin NO MORE’.
This is largely a battle of your will, and if you ask, He can strengthen your will, but you must be determined to do that which is right in His eyes and to really ‘love your neighbour as yourself’. Instead of thinking about yourself, think about your husband and that guy’s girlfriend! What about them?
I have just experienced a severe break up in our church over the adulterous affair of the leader and the devastation it has caused was enormous, causing some to reject Christianity (understandable in some ways). I hate to be mean and harsh and am certainly not wanting to come across as legalistic or anything like that but when you watch a child put their hand in the fire I believe the loving thing to do is to stop them! And God warns against this behaviour for very good reasons…
