Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Pursuing Your Master

God's Word says in Psalm 42:1-2, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” David then asks what is probably one of the best questions in the Bible: “When can I go and meet with God?” If you are a follower of Christ, you have an instinct to say, “I want to go where my Master is and be with Him. As soon as I get a chance, I want to be in His presence.” Perhaps, though, this might be what is missing in your relationship with the Lord.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
