Seventy years - a Christian perspective

This psalm laments the shortness of human life--seventy or eighty years might seem like a long time to us, but in the grand scheme of things, it's just the blink of an eye.

This verse should remind Christians about what Jesus Christ told his Disciples. In John 9:4-5,”As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
While we are young and strong, we should concentrate our energie on doing God’s work because a time will come when we can work no more.
