Shadrach - a Christian perspective
Shadrach was one of the three companions of Daniel who resisted the king's commands and remained faithful to God. They were thrown into a fiery furnace as punishment, but God protected them from harm.

These Men were appointed a task to serve and keep the order of the kings province in Babylon. When the earthly king wanted them to worship idol Gods I believe these boys were reminded of Exodus 20:1 though shall have no other God’s before me. What is holding you back what in your life is hendering you from deliverance or reaching your destiny, is it a relationship, a health issue, finances,a job situation…What is it? In the face of adversatity and in the eyes of faith God stepped in and delivered. If it had not been for the Lord on my side tell me where would I be.
