Has Social Networking Had a Positive Impact on Your Faith? - The Gospel.com Blog

The day one of my parents’ peers requested to be my friend on facebook I knew that social networking was here to stay. There’s something about connecting with each other that just makes sense, even for people who five years ago would barely take a second glance at a computer. For those that do participate in social networks, I’d like to ask you: has social networking had a positive impact on your faith?

I have not given it that much thought…..but it can increase your faith if you see how God is working in other people lives…. This is proof that HE LIVES ………..

As if God needed even MORE proof! A friend just called for prayer for a lost tool…we prayed Scripture promises and reassurances and asked God to keep it all under His resurrection power and His blood. The friend called me back immediately so we could praise and thank God together. But this is not in the least unusual. God is always there like that for His children. My favorite one was when the diamond disappeared from my engagement ring. After searching for it for three days moving heaven and earth and knowing how impossible it was to find it since I had been EVERYWHERE, including walking across great expanses outdoors on grass and weeds…I finally thought to pray and ask God to show me…having a right spirit about the reasons for the value of it I openned my eyes, grabbed a broom and swept, sweeping it out from under the refrigerator, less than 45 seconds after saying AMEN. What an AWESOME GOD!!!! Praise His Holy and Mighty Name!!!

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
