Stars in the Bible: Psalm 8:3-5


Gazing into the night sky has a way of making you feel insignificant against that vast backdrop. That's the experience the writer of this psalm describes, as he stares into the evening sky and is amazed that the God who created such a vast universe also cares for humans!

 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
