  1. Newcreation says:

We live in a world of information explosion. Never before have we amassed such knowledge and new ways of thought about the nature of man, of others, of the world and of God. But what is excellence in thought?

The author of the above thoughts also gave this insight into the absolute necessity of applying our knowledge. The ethics of acquiring knowlegde for knowledge sake needs to be examined.

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophesy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” 1 Cor. 13:1-3

In an age of information abundance through the Internet, the continual acquisition and storage of vast knowledge through such digital technologies has become our God.

Knowledge as a personal selfish possession is not of God. Knowledge must be applied in acts of love and kindness to others.

  2. docoleman says:

It is important that we focus on the things that are positive to help seal our faith. In this day and age the world is running ramped just about anything that you can dream of. People are constantly losing hope and life due to wrong and negative thinking. If we stay focus on thing that are good and positive that how our will be. It might take some effort in the beginning but it is well worth the effort in the long run.

Our Lord wants us to be happy and enjoy the good in this life and we can on acommplish that if are focused on the good and positive. If you have difficult being positive pray the Lord will show good and positive things to focus on.
