Third day in the Bible: 1 Corinthians 15:3-5


Jesus' death was followed three days later by his resurrection. If Jesus' hadn't risen on the third day, his death would have no spiritual significance for us--but he did rise, and with that resurrection offers us complete forgiveness of our sins.
